Actually, it is all very simple:
In my dealings with clients, I experience time and again that learning experiences linger more and lead to stronger insights if I:
- Have a broader perspective of how people, teams and organisation influence each other.
- Immerse myself deeper in what presents itself and how they, their team and organisation deal with it.
I firmly believe in the wisdom that is inherent in people and teams. If we make full use of this wisdom and stimulate the loops between people, team and context, together we can create an intense and lasting learning effect.
That's why I have a broader perspective and immerse myself deeper
For all questions or challenges. For all processes. For example:
Beyond issue and solution
I am always looking for what is hidden behind the issue and what is going on under the surface. That way, I can quickly get the essentials on the table and we can really get down to work. And I also challenge solutions: do they fit who you are, what you stand for and how you operate? This only increases the likelihood that you will work with them.
More than just insights
In group processes, you gain insight into a theme, how it affects you and how the learning group deals with it. This ensures a safe, surprising learning experience that stays with us longer and inspires action. And, afterwards, you will have a network of like-minded people that you can turn to for your further development.
One of you
Before I start a process, I immerse myself in your organisation out of a broad interest. What’s my objective in doing this? To find out who you are and what you do. What’s the result? I can have full confidence in what I am talking about, can get to the heart of the matter faster and can be credible to your people. This way, you achieve better results AND get everyone on board.
In the thick of it
Instead of watching from the sidelines, I jump into the thick of it. This is how I encourage you to find solutions together. I question and point things out searchingly and won’t be afraid to share my own doubts and experiences. This allows me to create a safe environment where everyone can be themselves, with less opportunity for political games and you can make progress.
